My name’s Melita Cameron-Wood, and I’m based in sunny Valencia, Spain. I’m an energetic, vibrant celebrant who promises to make your story sparkle on your big day. Fully qualified through the Academy of Professional Celebrants, I’m no stranger to getting up in front of big groups of people. I have worked as a master of ceremonies at a film festival, conducted live Q&A sessions, been in numerous stage productions, and even been on live TV in my career as a journalist. As a kid, I was in National Youth Theatre, and these days I can either be found on stage at one of Valencia’s many open-mic nights or recording podcasts from home.

I am a professional storyteller, and I take your story seriously — but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a bit of fun along the way. I love introducing a creative flair into my ceremonies. If you want to incorporate a special ritual into your ceremony or want some fun ideas of how to make it truly unique, then I’m your girl. One couple wanted to incorporate piña colada in hydration packs into their ceremony, and I’m not one to turn down a fabulous request like that! I can make your day just as quirky as you want it to be. But if you’d prefer a calmer, more traditional approach, then that is definitely something I can do, too.
